My grandmother 1922

Seen besides her mother is my grandmother, Emilienne, who had the same name as her mother. Circa 1922. Her father was alredy dead for 4 years, "mort au champ d'honneur" as we say in France (KIA for you). Emilienne will live for 97 years, and passed away recently. She was 5 feet tall, she ignored the meaning of a word like wickedness. She lived her life in Dieppe, running a café for the sailors of the harbour. It's where I first tasted Calvados, when I was 5. I miss her deeply. View full size.

I'll bet she lived a great life

Vive la grand mere! It means a lot to ignore wickedness.
