Stahl Family: c. Late 1800s

This is a Stahl family portrait from the late 1800s that used to haunt my youth. Oldest surviving photo in my possession and not much is known. It was taken in the Albany, NY, area.
I think the lady in white on the left was not alive when the photo was taken. She has no feet, she's just floating there with her dark eyes, just a little off from the others. (of course, now that I've scanned the photo I can see her legs through zooming)
That's my grandma and grandpa, 2nd couple from the left, counting the g-g-g-ghost!
Seriously, here's who's who (l to r):
Ella and Jake Ableman; Coretta and Leopold Stahl; Jane and Robert Waldron; Lize and Abram Oliver; Carrie Dutcher and John Ableman.

Ghostly lady in white

The lady in white does have an ethereal, floaty air about her while the rest seem to reside more solidly in the physical plane. Very interesting and cool group photo.
