May 7, 1923. "Joseph W. Schollick." Whose name is also attached to this photo of a similar-looking but evidently different person, George Marshall, also seen here on Shorpy. I picked up this "instant relatives" pic at an antique shop in Southern California a number of years ago. Just couldn't pass up these handsome gents... for only 25 cents!  Am guessing it was taken in the 1950's, but any  info on the who, where & when for this photo would be greatly appreciated. View full size.

Dad's Indian: 1950s

My dad had this awesome Indian motorcycle while he was in high school. He admits it made him popular with the ladies at Maury High in Dandridge, Tennessee. He does, of course, wish he still had it. I do, too! View full size.
