The Wilson Family: 1948

My family at home on Farrell Street in the Colonial Terraces neighborhood of Newburgh, NY, at Christmastime in 1948. In the foreground are "Blitz", the family pet dog, and myself. In the background on the couch are my parents and my older sister "Bunny." By August of the following year, my sister had married and moved to Syracuse NY where her husband was studying architecture, "Blitz" had passed away, and the rest of us had moved to Wilmington DE after my Dad had been transferred there by the duPont Company.
