GMC & Mack

I rarely see a Mack truck these days (in California).

Truck in then, dine-in now

The warehouse in the background has survived as an Event Center known as

The Terrace at Cedar Hill. A&P occupied the two buildings on the right in the main photo - the left one was a bakery - plus one across what was Hill Street (from where this shot seems to have been taken.) The building to their left belonged to to the Loose-Wiles Biscuit Co. In both photos, we're looking east on what is now Westmere Avenue.

Ampersands Galore!

Very clever captioning! Bravo!
