Long may she wave

An Annin flag flies from my front porch. The quality is still there.

Annin Tour

Early Annin

Evidence exists that Louis Annin made flags in NYC as early as about 1825 as a part of his ship chandlery business. The company was incorporated in 1847 with his sons. It was still listed as Ship Chandlers in 1856. By 1861 they were focusing only on flags. Today, they are the largest flag manufacturers in the world.

Don't vexillology me!

Annin Flag Co. was started in 1847, and is still producing flags.
