This was taken during the weekend of the 1963 Monterey Folk Festival at Monterey, California, in a motel room. The performer is Stewart Clay (stage name) who performed at various venues in Aspen, Colorado, during the prior winter when I was a ski bum there. The adoring young women are, sadly, unknown to me.
